Sticker requires a plate. Either a ohv or street. And current. Some guys put the sticker and plate paperwprk in their daypack to avoid losing the plate. I roll w the tsreet legal plate and sticker as too many places now require a street legal license, and proof of insurance. ...whacked but...

    Thank a Union

Reminds me of the time in paris when we couldn't take a train (on strike) ...restauraunts were closed (food servers on strike) and it all started with the prostitutes going on strike for better child care provisions (yup, same union). In france, you don't screw with the prostitutes union as...

I'm all for no alcohol, mandatory lifevests and boaters required to get a license

Interesting to me is my bro went back to school on sailing vessels etc as he is preparing for going full time live aboard and doing some serious cruising. Interesting to me and pertinent to this thread as he has been sailing for 40 years. I asked him what did he learn and he said plenty. Makes...

    A reverse LEO thread

1 Respect is a two way street. 2 Don't break the law and chances are it will be a moot point. 3 dealing with the aftermath of speeders, drunks, wannabe racers, disturbed, and the public in general can alter your tolerance for some behaviors.

    Prop strike in havasu

Sad thread. Impaired covers a lot of ground. Seems like some people see operation of a vehicle while impaired as a judgement call. If you replaced this thread topic with firearm or weapon would the arguments made change? My point would be that impaired while operating a vehicle, boat...

    I have 2 1985 XR's

As a pair maybe $600 to 800 to the right buyer. Not much demand for the newer ones (post 1970) so not much collector value. Great reliable bikes perfect for two kids up at the cabin or whever..so try to get top dollar for each one. Someday the 80 bikes will appreciate, but right now they are a...
