We have two Honda 450's in the stable. A 2018 CRF450R that is mine, love it for an all around bike. Helped my GF's son get into a 2022 CRF450WE, he loves that bike, lots of power and it is super nimble. The width difference and nimbleness from the 2018 to the new ones has me looking for a 2022...
I bought the Brunt boots about a year ago. Wore them for about a month and switched back to my irish setters. I don't like the feel of the top of the boot or their lacing system.
Haven't drawn a tag in NV in a couple years. With the winter kill this year from the harsh winter it sounds like its been a tough year even seeing mature bucks out there. My GF's brother was just in Idaho for 9 days and they only saw a few forky's and they were deep in their unit no other...
Bearded and several tats. No regrets on any of the ones I have as they are reminders of things that were happening at different stages of my life. I have a full sleeve planned out but waiting until next year to start that one.
Too many irons in the fire lol. I haven't started prep other than the dirt bikes. Going to start on the SXS this weekend and then do a once over on the Tatum after that. We have a trip out to moon rocks the 20th-22nd this month
Along with either a different trailer or going the...
A buddy of mine has two Tesla semi's on order for when he retires from UPS to set up a short haul logistics company. Him and his brother did very well in the stock market and he is setting up his future with these trucks. Hoping it all works out for him.
I have been wearing Irish Setters on the daily, tried the Brunt boots, they are comfortable but I don't like the upper lacing system. Recently bought a pair of Ariat work boots and they are super comfortable and light.
My buddy used SCS after he designed and patented his own bed rack system for overlanding. He is about to release it to full production in the shop he is running. It's pretty unique and gets a lot of attention at the overlanding meet ups.
SCS for the win, during and now after Covid they have...
Yep been cooling off quickly up here. 38 degrees on the way to work this morning. Crazy that its a 40+ degree temperature swing from the morning low to the afternoon high up here this time of year.
When I was a kid I stepped off of our sidewalk (barefoot) and got about 20 in each foot. Ouch was an understatement. Those things grow like grass up here. Hard to get rid of them.
My GF's family owns a cattle ranch in Dixon CA on the delta. They generally lease land up in the hills to graze their cattle. I went to the auction at the Silver Legacy a couple months ago. They did well at auction and beat a lot of their competitors on price per LB. It' costs a lot to keep the...
I posted up about it yesterday. We heard all of the sirens and silence after the crash we knew it was bad.
Sad way to end the era of the Reno Air Races.
Final Reno Air Races ended with two pilots colliding after the race was over and on approach for landing. Both pilots reported deceased. Pretty sad way to end this being the last year. They cancelled the rest of the day after this happened...
