Good looking out. He might of been late or thinking about something else and left it there. I did that once. Came home to a parking ticket. Totally brain farted in a rush to get out of town. Meant to move it back in the driveway.
They invented a tool long ago. Sawzall Lol.
I was bidding 2 bathrooms on Sunday and pointed out some dry rot. Customer asked how do we fix it. Tear it out!
I know it was just a band aid. But the sealer trick bought the time needed so He could save up for the roof.
I had a similar idea years ago. Just no time to pursue it. Was going to see if 3M could produce a roof sealer- waterproofing spray.
My Brothers roof was in bad shape. I had 5 gallons of paver sealer left over. So I put it in my Hudson sprayer and spraid it out. Looked like new again. That...
A few that had payments still got $1000-1200. They asked a few questions when I called. I felt $800 was fair for my situation. I traded work for it and the $800 brought my costs of the unit down below 4k. Others have posted a thousand was not enough but paid covid prices for them.
A story I never forgot about a mountain lion attack. Guy hears his 80 lb husky getting attacked on his porch. Runs out front door as it takes off with the dog in his mouth. They track it for over a mile and lose it at a creek crossing. Imagine trying to run a mile carrying 80lbs.
That RZR 200 I got for my Nieces and Nephews. Had a stop ride. If you signed a document stating you would not sue for lemon law. They sent a good faith check for $800 and extended the warranty. Once the recall is completed they send a $250 voucher. Only to CA buyers.
$350+ a sq ft all in or more. They still need a main line for sewer, water main, roof, kitchen, bathroom. So the price per sq ft is more. Best to build them 1200 sq ft if it fits.
My old house. Plan is to do a addition to it. To make it 1600 sq ft ad a 1200 sq ft adu. Build a back house...
I have a a frame you can borrow. There not worth much unless someone wants that color. I have about 10 on hand for years now. Paid $60 a piece for the 26x110 pieces.
The ADUs I have been bidding don't pencil out unless the property was owned before covid. Buying now and dropping 3-400K on a adu. The adu would not bring in enough to offset what it costs to build.
I think they are thanks to parents and grandparents.
I have a client in escrow now. They have enough left over for 200k in upgrades.
Another one they closed 6 months ago. Doing a lot of work to the house. Around your age. $6400 a month nut all in on 2 + 2. Probably spent 80k already after...
I ordered it online. Forgot the name but factory can am pump was like $375 plus the tool to remove pump. Like another $70. Pretty easy to change. Definitely not worth paying $1200.
Yeah. Get the gray kit from lowes and go over the top. Just do it when it's hot out. I used it on one of my enclosed trailers. Took a few days to dry but it was cold out.
