    Time to break the silence

We've been married 30 years this month. The D word was mentioned a couple times when she was especially angry. In calmer moments we discussed what divorce would look like. Besides what it would do to the kids, we never lost sight of the financial devastation that it would cause us both. We...

    Best breakfast in Parker??

Between my son and I, we have worked at 5 restaurants, from fine dining to sports bars, to coffee shops. They all have buttered the bread with a brush. Most people have zero appreciation for how fast cooks have to move during a busy shift.

    Trust amendment

Best thing my parents did for my sister and I was to have all of their paperwork in order. Both trusts had everything divided 50/50. My wife and I had our first trust done about 15 yrs ago when we bought out my sister's 50% of the our family home. Had a new one written about 6 yrs ago after...

    Buying health insurance

Wife and I have been retired for 2 yrs now. I'm still paying $2200/mo. for United Healthcare HMO which covers the 2 of us and one son, 20. I'm 63 and in pretty good shape, and the only med I'm on is for asthma. I have a whole life policy that will pay out $650K even past 100 @ $239mo. We own a...

Looking for Photographer, DJ, and Florist

Smartest thing we ever did was take all the pics of everyone involved a day or two before the actual event. Yes you have to get dressed twice but it is way less pressure and you can take your time and have fun with it. It's not so rushed and you aren't distracted.

Oh wow, look at her bottom

So I'm in the process of restoring my 236 Wriedt Montara daycruiser. These seem to be pretty rare as I have only seen one other in real life, and can't even find much in the way of photos online. I love the boat and the way it drives. It seems to handle chop pretty well considering it doesnt...

    Fellow offroad racer help

I saw a movement to select the rider who tried to shield Clayton from the other racers as the AMA Sportsman of the Year. Seems like a no brainer.

Do you have to sit like this in all Schiadas? Are they trying to keep the wear and tear on the seats to a minimum?

Heads & Cam for 454 MKIV

I'm going down this road currently and I asked the same question and didn't get a lot of help. I'm adding 049 heads where there were previously the peanut plug heads. My builder is very happy with this grind and has built several using it several marine engines.

Sous vide vs grilled tritip tested

Lately I have been smoking my prime rib roasts for 2.5 hrs then wrapping like a brisket and into an ice chest for 45 minutes and then into the 500* oven to sear. The texture with cheap-o Stater Bros. meat has been outstanding.

When a hooker steals. in your home..... and then the Response options

Quick question if I may? How does a stripper "get bitten" by pics getting posted? But please carry on, I find this thread fascinating.

    Anyone here start/buy a franchise? Pros/cons

My sister has worked as a product rep for Vick's cold & flu company until they were bought out by P&G. After 20 yrs of being the supervisor for an are that covered half of CA and AZ she and her husband bought into a snow cone deal (Rita's Ices). They were tight with the district manager and...
