69 camaro "refreshtoration"

ok day one, strip, sand and cut out the only rust I can find "anywhere" on the car, this thing is a really clean car that just needs some clean up

This is gonna be gooooooooooooood...

after 4 days of prep and bodywork it's ready for primer

First wipe it down with Prep-All, a mild solvent that removes contaminates and sanding dust

Then it's time for Feather-Fill, it's a basically spray on bondo with primer that thickens as it cures and provides a solid base to block the car straight
I cut it about 10% with acetone so that it burns into the old paint and metal
so now it's just wait for 24 hrs and start sanding again.

Fathom blue pearl, almost as hard to paint as silver..ugh
1st 2 coats 75% color 25% clear
2nd 2 coats 25% color 75% clear
3rd coat 100% clear

waiting to pull the tape...tick tock

Flipper (327 4 spd), s/b for sale at Run to the Sun if not sold before then

finish exterior this week and replace interior plus all door and window rubber next week
not a show car by any means but will be solid clean driver

Buff out Saturday
after 4 days of color sanding let the next few days of buffing begin
new shoes arrived 255/45/17 & 235/45/17 Kuhmos on torque thrust

a original camaro shell of a car, not running or missing running gear are 6-10k or less depending on rust and interior

when done a driver like this should bring 20-25k-ish, camaros are on the hot list these days so who knows how high they will go

it's starting to look like a camaro again
new package tray, seat covers, door panels, carpet
grille, emblems and wheel lip moldings to go........ship it
