This is Pliny Jr right here. I can't tell the difference. Absolutely wonderful IPA that I paired with some BBQ Chicken Pizza. Bravo Hanger 24!!

I just finished off a Betty IPA. First off, its really good! Not a Pliny Jr in my opinion, but a really flavorful ipa. It's by far my favorite from Hangar 24. Thanks for the recommendation [emoji106]

My foundation repair guy gave me a few of his home brewed IPAs. I save a lot my special one of a kind craft beers throughout the year for Christmas Day. I know a handful of guys that brew, so I usually have a nice collection of stuff at home.

Here's one of the beers he bottled for me. The label is pretty bad ass! She's a 10.5...Yeah the girl too. :)

I have had A LOT of Pliny and this was as close as I have ever found. My next recommendation would be Grapefruit Sculpin......AMAZING!!

Hmmmmm.........guess I should start a Homebrew thread.........been brewing for about 6 years now. It would be cool to do an RDP bottle share with anyone else on here that brews. Of course those who don't brew would be invited to partake in the debauchery.

Had the grapefruit last week. Good stuff, but stay away from the Habenero.

What surprises me is Lake Havasu adding a 4th brewery to town. Besides College Street, Barley Bros, and MudShark's there will be a new brewery in January called "Copper Canyon Brewery". It will be down next to The London Bridge Resort across the street from Red Robin on Swanson.

Had some last week, liked it. Picked up a case of Knuckle Sandwich bombers today along with a growler of Rustic Rye. The KS wasn't as good as some previous batches but still works for me. I want to try the Betty but haven't found it anywhere.

A few of my recent favorites. The Allagash may be the best beer I've ever had!

The Habi' is a bit much. My new fav is the G-fruit Sculpin on NITRO. Wow what a creamy good IPA. My latest love is soon to be gone :

Don't worry, you will be able to find it everywhere when the next release comes out. Seems like Enjoy By is super easy to get your hands on lately. I was in Albertsons the other day and they had like 6 cases sitting on the end of an aisle.

It is good. It's a pretty basic sour. I liked it better when it warmed up a bit. I would buy it again for sure because it has a good price point for a sour.

I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around the price of sours. I know they're a time consuming brew but, damn... I spent $22 on a sour once and it sucked.

I don't think there is a brew that can pull me away from a traditional IPA but would love to start branching out to different sours.

Yep, I know what you mean. Liking sours can be an expensive habit. 6 bottles can easily be over $60.00, but hey we pay more than that for crap beer at baseball games!!

Nothing beats a good IPA or crisp lager but it is fun to drink funky stuff every now and then.

Lol!! I can't believe they still have bottles left to serve after you have been there all week.

It's a great story....

We walk in today and the hostess whispers to me they have 4 Pliny's left.

Sit down and waiter says "I heard you guys love Pliny." (We have a reputation).

Order one each for wifey and I. She's a freak for Pliny.

Guy next to us is from NorCal and doesn't know shit about beers. Asks why he doesn't see Pliny on the menu. Wife and I kinda play dumb.

Waiter checks on NorCal guys table and he inquires about Pliny. Waiter goes into the "Pliny spiel" and is frustrated this guy is asking so many questions. Guy orders a Pliny and waiter tells him they're out.

Guy checks out and leaves. 30 seconds later the same waiter comes up to me and says "I saved a couple Pliny's for you both, how many you want?!!"

Tipped the guy $25. That place knows us now. LMFAO.

Modern Times is awesome shit! I just picked up a bomber of it. I had it a month or so ago. Delicious!

We're on our way out the door to go camping. We always do beer tasting and all the guys pick up a few bombers that we poor shot size glasses of. I'll post up my weekend selection for the weekend beer festivities in a few.
