Found this one on Craig's List, only a 3 1/2 hour drive to see it. Turned out way better than I thought so I had to get it.

Got down to the motor today...

Turns over partially, I soaked it down and will try it again tomorrow. Turned halfway right off the bat!

Holy batman Malcolm:thumbsup Do you have room for more? I'm guessing the railing is first to go.

Haha!! You are right there! It took an hour or so moving things around to get this new boat into the garage. I need to get a pic of both Spectras lined up, just as soon as I can get the place cleaned up a little.

After checking things, it wasn't totally freed up and I bent a pushrod. Out came that motor and in goes my other one!

Oh yeah, I swapped trailers too. The old one was really heavy and was pretty rusty. The red will go away eventually, but it's growing on me.

I made a Jacuzzi to Berkeley adapter so I could run a droop and diverter. Looks pretty cool I think.

Any pictures of removing the bow rail or filling the holes? Looks way better without it!

They were in pretty rough shape. Most of the set screws were stripped and many of the bolts into the boat had already lost their nuts and just had to be pulled out. It still has the holes actually. I'm too far behind the 8 ball this season to worry about them so I'll just squirt a little silicone in them for now.

nice work... contemplating pulling the bow rail on mine as well, like others said it looks 100% better without but having the railing IS kinda nice so you have something to grab onto..

Got the interior put in today. Just have to wire the bilge pump in the morning and take it to the river! Hope it works as well as it looks.
