Can the AL shavings be recycled to make another AL block?

You know I'm not sure that they would actually use recycled aluminum to remake "billet?" I know they use it for cans, and a lot of other purposes..

Normally the shaving are recycled. It's important when machining to clean your machines when cutting different material types. That way you keep your scrap recycle bins are filled with only that type of material. Some scrap recycle companies won't take your shavings if they are mixed with other types of material.

No that is an infra red reader for the tool probe. Total machining time on this batch per unit was 18 hrs ea.

I should say that included the setups also. Actual machine run time was only about 12
