Many of you may recall my earlier review and my excitement of test driving the xp41k at camp rzr in glamis. It became real as i took delivery of the unit last November. I thought some of you may also enjoy seeing the next phase come to life. At the time of delivery, I was excited to put it all together, however I started another project around the house in Havasu and the RZR got put on hold for a lil bit. I am glad I cooled my jets a bit as it also gave me time to follow some of the industry leaders and consumers with their projects. The holding pattern is being lifted as I write this. Most or all of the parts have either been ordered and are currently being built.

Going to pull the suspension too, sandblast and re-powder coat all pieces in black.

Awesome!! Good timing too. What are the wait times with the builders now? I was looking a few months back and everything was back ordered with 6 week waiting list. Keep the pictures coming.:thumbsup

I have been coordinating with everyone and yes there have been a few challenges. But all very manageable since I knew that going into it.

Seats are about 3-4 weeks from my order date, they are on schedule to be finished around Easter.
Lights are no problem, however the 38" E Series is a special order, 7-10 days.
Cage, roof, doors, bumper all from TMW, waiting list seems to be about 5-6 weeks total from the time my order was placed. The plan with them is to have everything built before I drop the unit off with them (next month). Then I think the standard "two weeks" before I go back and get it. :D

Nice plan, All Black. As long as you are taking the stock arms off and sandblasting, have them plated like I did on my XP900(cheap strength reinforcement). Any fab shop should be able to do this for 1 hr + materials. I also recomend adding weld washers and gussets to all the suspension pivot/mouunting points on the frames

Time is closing in. Parts will be powder coated this week and ready for install next week. I was able to add one more final change (an additional bung on the "c" post for a pair of rigid D2's) for side lighting.

Also, graphics for the wrap should be finalized in the next day or two, should be a one of a kind :)

I guess we will figure out what to do with all of the switches when I get there next week.
Here is what I have for now,
1) overhead 38" rigid E-series
2) front bumper 10" rigid E-series
3) D2's in front fender wells (right and left on same switch, I think?)
4) D2's for side lighting on "c" posts (thinking about having them with their own switch for right and left?)
5) 2 LED whip lights on rear of cage/roof (on same switch)
6) Dome light switch
7) switch for back up light
8) switch for radio (?)

I shipped some lighting harnesses to be pre wired before I get there to help make my visit with build time quicker.

I am excited for this to come together, it has been lots of work getting it to this point. I'm falling asleep at night with things spinning in my head as I try to make sure I have not missed anything.

Sick! That is going to be a very nice car.

Is that your cage? If so who built it? Any more pics of the cage?

I will be taking it Mesa, Az next week for the build at TMW Offroad, they built the cage, roof, doors, bumpers and will be doing the wrap as well. Everything is complete and returned from powdercoat, just waiting now for me to get it there next week.

Add a rear facing AMBER D2, people behind you will thank you, even mid day. Out in the dust its HUGE!!! You can be seen from way back. I had SDR put one on my build and always leave it on, day and night. Just my .02

this was a thought, I talked about it and then kinda let it go... I might still do it, I really like the concept!

Made the rest of my journey to Mesa, AZ this morning. Where the crew at TMW Off-road were ready and waiting for me to bring the RZR.

An early start scheduled for tomorrow morning as it should be finished up to get me back on the road.
The front bumper, the rest of the lights, the doors, street legal kit, pull the suspension and replace with new black powder coated a-arms and trailing arms. And the graphics show up, can't wait.
