As with any new installation, there's bound to be a setback... Lake Test moved to next week (hopefully)...:skull
Target to be on the water by Friday...:thumbsup
How do they connect the water hose to the sponson water pickup tube. My boat has 1 on each sponson one for intercooler and 1 for motor cooling but I have never figured out how to connect a hose to it. Mine potrude thru the bottom at slight angle.:cool
I have been curious and don't want to ask a stupid question but I have to know. On what engine are those new TT merc's based? Are they a mercury exclusive design? pretty damn sick if you ask me. Not super cool or blingy to look at but damn I bet they run like nobody's business.
Glad to see Eliminator turning out some prized pieces too!
Shrink wrap tape...around the hose and stuck to the bottom...

They are a Quad camshaft (DOHC), 4 valve per cylinder, 552 cubic inch deal. Very "new school".
Some Shop Shots...lake test in the morning...:thumbsup
If you need a driver for the test run, Im available!
Thanks...:thumbsup Here's part of the family doing their interior inspection...
Boat turned out fantastic, great job. Did you guys run it today? Any numbers? I'd guess north of 150 depending on setup. Looks great, and great drive package.
That seems way high for the single package. I would guess 120ish
Pretty sure the one they did with the 700/nxt package was doing 120ish,granted I believe it had a stage 3 whipple kit.
How much power that kit adds I have no idea.
I suspect this boat hits 135-140ish,150 does seem optimistic.
I guess so?Cant think of many that hit that number, besides a Top fuel jet 19 DaytonaIsn't 150 the holly grail for a single engine cat?

Little update on this Speedster,
133 but were still playing with props! Will let everyone know what the final # is after another trip to the lake.
