Goodbye Daisy Mae...

This morning we laid Daisy down for her final rest. It was time. She would have been 12 next month. From the beaches of Mexico to the snow in north Idaho and also being our mascot on the boat. Forever in our hearts....miss you...[emoji22][emoji22]

Sorry for all the pics, but it is helping me deal with this loss...we have no children...she was everything to us...

Sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. We put our dog down two years ago and we still miss her daily.

We have Miss Emma, our boxer. And Miss Sadie is our black Belgian shepherd. They are lovers.

So sorry for your loss. We also had to put our 10 year old German Shepherd down in July. We don't have any kids so she was it. But we did end up get 2 German Shepherd puppies soon after. :yikes So when your ready there are more doggies to luv out there!

I'm sorry to read this Jessie. I know the importance a pet can have in your life, especially if you don't have children. After I lost Neva it felt like I had a hole in my heart for a long time. She was the first dog that I had raised from a puppy, and wasn't a "family" dog.. She was like my kid as well. I'm not sure I'll ever let a dog into my heart again like that.

So sorry to read this, I don't have kids either and am way too close probably to my best buddy Boris, and he is coming up on his time. The only thing I like to think about to take the edge off with this one, and when I went through it with my other dog, is that there was no better way he could have had a better life, no owner could have shown him a better time here. Looks like you are the same for yours. What a life together you have had, be very proud and grateful of that, I know it doesn't help much, but its all I know to do.

Sorry for your loss. The pictures are great. We lost one of our dogs in April and we printed out a bunch of pictures and put them throughout the house. It helps alot.

Over the last month we realised that we were ready for another dog. This past weekend we got Harper. She is half Irish Setter and Half Golden. So far she is a great pup.

Cherish the great times Daisy brought to you. I had to put or Lab down last weekend after 13 great years. Not a day goes by without thinking about him.

Both of these have passed on in the last two years, I was with both and man was it tough.

Sorry for your lose dude........love my pups.

I'm on my 3rd Boxer and yes there the best ! Rocky is now 10 years old and I will never be ready for the inevitable. I've been where you are a few times and there's nothing worse! Sorry about your loss as I am sure that was one hell of a Boxer!!
