Where can you get Av Gas in Orange County??

My research is a little old but I recall that Fullerton airport would sell retail into your containers. Couldn't bring the boat to fill, only rated gas cans.

That would be my only guess, the chevelle sometimes gets treated to the 100 Octane out the pump at the 76 station on Gilbert near the airport, I am sure you don't want to pay that price per gallon though.

At last check Chino was best on price and easy access. Almost OC.

We have used Cable too, Chino was better on both price and access. Seems like we paid $1,050 for 4 cans?

$5 a gallon does not sound hideous. A 5 gal can of VP is like $45.

Thanks guys. Waiting on a call back from Fullerton airport. If not its going to have to be the 76 next to the airport at 8.99 a gallon.

Almost self serve!

At Cable just go to the tower and let them know you want AV gas. 1) they will bring the truck to you (cost more /gal) or 2) ask for the card key and go directly to the pump and self serve.

Chino was similar, get to the gate and call, they send a guy to escort you to the pumps. Enter off Merrill Ave.

They are always cool at Cable.Some times the gate on Benson is open and you dont need a card to go in.I usually drive by it first.

Last time I was at Corona airport you could just drive right up to the pump and fill up your boat...............here is the current price;

I was thinking the same thing Tom... Looks like California av gas is cheaper than AZ. I think that I paid $5.70 gal last fill up.

So Fullerton wont let you on, looks like I will have to go to Chino or Corona. I know I can get 110 vp racing at the pump in corona at downs energy. 8.18 a gallon. Maybe get that and mix it 50/50 with premium?

I was told (by a GM Engineer who is WAY smarter than me...) not to do that. Something about delayed or different flash points. I dunno but I have a shit load of respect for the guy that told me not to so I didn't.

What is the latest for AV gas at Chino or Corona airport? Can you pump it into the boat at either? Thanks

I’ve never been able to do that at Corona or French Valley. I could pump into cans only.
