So I was texting with my daughter earlier today.

My daughter is a senior at Colorado State (she's 21) and the conversation went something like this:

Me) So are you dressing up for Halloweeen?

Her) Yeah, Sarah (her roommate) and I are going as a car wash.

Me) How do you dress up as a car wash?

Her) we are wearing a bunch of Tutus and we will be blowing bubbles all over everyone......

Me) OKaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy........

Glad to know that my education dollars are being well spent (although, it is a pretty clever idea)........

My wife's cousin had the best costume I saw this year....

Many forget that "All Hallows Eve" (October 31st) is the precursor to "All Saints Day" (November 1st).

She is Precious!!!

Thank goodness she got her mother's looks................and Hair

Tons of kids, just about every one of them very polite, nice to see.

We also gave out a few beers and two martinis.

And the pumpkins

My parents live just off of Arbolita St. in La Habra/Heights. It's a f'n mad house every year... in fact... when you buy a house on that street it's one of the disclosures. NO SHIT! hahah... Anyways, these people go all out with pirate ships, haunted houses, thriller being played on the house fronts, etc.... This year seemed to be the year of live people in full costume jumping out and scaring the shit out of the kids. It was awesome. They went through right around 800 pieces of candy and they are off the main street.

I doubt very much that either you or I qualify to be honored for All Saints Day.......however, tomorrow is All Souls Day so we have that goin' for us.....
