I think that set up would be a little bottle rocket

I like all these manufacturer's on the West Coast. I like all these build threads and all this experimentation with these new powerplants and blah blah, and on & on so, why not? It'd be a cool little bottle rocket. Good looking boat...

What's the asking price?

It's brand new. I believe I was told somewhere around $80k with HO power if memory serves. Well worth it in my opinion. Boat is a perfect river runner... [emoji106][emoji106]

I probably still can't afford it but I wonder what it would cost minus motor and drive?

Good question.... Maybe shoot Shueman a PM [emoji106]

And it's been a few months since I was told the price, so I might be off a bit on the $80k guess. A lot of hardware already on that boat. My wife was ready to sign papers until I reminded her that it's not even in the ballpark of our budget [emoji23] pretty ride for sure

Wonder what the asking price is for that time capsule?

Its been there awhile, I asked... Was told it wasn't for sale, customer brought it in for interior upgrades and it's become eye candy for the showroom.

Also a 27' Speedster with with a pair of 300XS.

Shueman is this Sempers old 30 in this pic???

I was "off" so missed you guys...:( Brakes went out on my F150...:grumble:

That boat is Brent Seber's...33 Daytona built in 2009...Twin 700 Ilmor's...setup for Offshore Racing with Marine Radio, Headsets, Bolsters and has complete cuddy interior...AND can be gotten for under $120k...

It originally was the CITGO boat in a 1200mi race in Venezuela; when it came back, it was completely redone w/new power from Ilmor...it's my personal favorite of all the boats that have come/gone thru the shop...

Here's a quick snip of it from the original VHS tape of the race...they came in 2nd to an OUTBOARD...

Hey Shueman, you sure about that? I thought Citgo Eliminator won and the Outboard powered Seebold came in 3rd. It was some time ago, maybe I'm wrong. [emoji4]

The Church put the first 22 Daytona together with a 525 package excellent handling package very stable at all times. could have used a couple hundred more HP to be a real weapon.

The second 22 Daytona the Church did have the twin 300xs, it is not for a beginner driver. Slow speed cornering is a issue with a Ass heavy boat.
One of my favorite rides overall very fast and stable at speed

That was the only criticism I had about Bully's boat, it seemed really heavy with the 300's, the heavy bracket, and a lot of setback.
What do you think about a pair of 200 ROS to save 200 lbs vs the 300's? I think it would still crack a 100. [emoji4]

Why not go big and do 2 300 Drags with a couple Calhoun Marine 15" mids with built in setback and get rid of a bunch of the brackets. :) Save a few hundred lbs. that way! It's only money.

Awesome, the Drags are even lighter yet.
Have you seen the 22 KMG with Drags? 130 mph boat. [emoji33]

That 22 daytona with a viper V10, matched with one of the two Blackhawk drives Bob has in his shop. That would be a cool set up. Light, lots of RPM's and tons of power. That would bemy choice.

I had a new style 22 with a 950hp Whipple motor built by Dustin.
It ran and handled damn good.
Video is with no trim. Ran about 130. Don't know what it would do trimmed up to fly. The video was from a 50 to 60 punch.
Divorce ate mine.

I had a 120mph speedo on the dash. It buried it as well.
Cost:
new 22 Daytona $89000.00
New Teague 900 and drive $50000.00
Misc parts and install $20000.00
Smile when when you hammer it PRICELESS!

I really appreciate you posting the numbers both $$$$ and the MPH :D. I tried to guesstimate and came up short engine package/install number. Thank you

What a sweet ride! Sorry to hear you had to get rid of it. :(

The 200 ROS motors are very nice and I love the 300xs motors

The 200 ROS should crack a hundred

The 22 Daytona with a Teague with a Indy drive
like on Bob Teague 28 speedster would be the shit :rolleyes

 not sure about the blackhawk drive though.

I am!

I haven't been in this new style 22.
The old 22,with a 502 Mag(the black engine not a blue 500 hp)with a Pro Charger,Black Hawk drive is a killer package.
Not sure on fuel load, but Brent (Bobs son) driving,me holding a radar gun and a guy in the back seat dialing in fuel mapping on the efi,at Elsinore,114mph and bumping the limiter.Dint remember what it ran with more prop but it was a cool combo.Everything under the hatch, accelerated like crazy, respectable top end numbers.
