Going dark for a while,,

Stomach surgery tomorrow they say it's almost a one week stay in the hospital.

Thanks to all of the kind support from everyone.
You all are fantastic.

Doctors give me a good chance of beating this,, 90% as I type.
Infection and blood clotting is the danger now.

I would never wish this on anyone,, get a colonoscopy!!

All the dune toys put away,, the RV and boat mothballed,,, going to take it easy for a long while.

You all are the best!

Thinking of you a lot these days Ross, dealing with some hiccups of my own, they seem to come from many directions these days.
When I was fighting it, and needed something to focus on, I'd look towards next summer, and time with my family and those I love. I'd even go through hooking up the boat and driving to the lake in my mind. Finding that "place" to focus on helped me to take my mind away from the hospital room and the stuff that was going on, and motivated me to stay on track.
Cindy and I will have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers my friend.

I just spent 5 days in the hospital for a kidney transplant. It was brutal, couldn't wait to get home. They say a hospital is a place for recovery and not for a place for rest.

When I was in "lock down" I would go into deep meditation. I would sit on the transom and could actually "feel" the flow of the river over the plates, on my feet.

I fought with just a get well see you back soon post, but I have more to say.

Thank you for the many years of sharing great stories, pictures and life experiences. I have Always enjoyed reading and looked forward to your posts. You have been an inspiration to better myself, Family and to help others. The courage/positive outlook you have shared is second to none.

I wish nothing more than for you and your wonderful Family to get through this troubling time.
