When cars get above 600hp it really takes skill to drive. Things can get out of hand quickly. I think cars like this with huge power are cool, but shouldn't be put in the hands of any joe with a good FICO score.

Same with 1000/1100 cc street bikes.
Most track guys will tell you that after 500HP most guys lap times don't actually get any better.

A lot of my buddies prefer 750 gsxr for the track and either the kawi 636 or some 600 for stunting.

Depending on the circumstances it may have had nothing to do with 700HP and could have happen in a Prius for all that matters...maybe.:cool

I completely agree. I ran the CCS circut between Firebird raceway and the old Las Vegas speedway on an FZR400 in the early 90's. Lots of seat time on bikes. The new stuff out of the box is not for novice riders. I think the modern day liter bikes are the fastest way to the funeral home.
