Going for the first time this year. Any dos and don'ts that I should know about?

Check the weather reports... I think during the 2008 or 2009 race, it rained for a while.. My dumbass was is shorts and flip flops. The Coors Lights kept me warm :drink

Shea RD is a good spot for qualifying and the race, try osbourne wash under the 95 and the starting line.

Get there early to watch the start!! Park and watch close to the starting line.

Sounds about right. Pretty sure it was 2009.

Hang out on Friday at Contingency in the parking lot of the Bluewater, get up close to all the race vehicles and have a good time.

Thursday's qualifying is the best bang for the buck, crazy action in a short amount of time.

Also race morning 18th st and Geronimo where they transition from asphalt to dirt, always a great time. Somebody always sets up on the outside of that first corner, crazy mofo's.

Changed the blue at the bottom to black.

Anybody know if the qualifying coarse is going to run out by sand mountain this year or is it going to remain shorter like last year?

Amazon has Baofeng handheld vhf uhf radios for under 50 bucks. If you get one, let me know and I'll post the frequency list. I have 6, one for each crew member for race day.

Big thanks. I have standard NASCAR scanner but that is a different spec/band. Appreciate posting freqs.
