If you want. I can lend you this. It's the ARB system in a Pelican case. I'm still putting an on board system in, but got this for now.

Very generous offer, those things are like 900 bucks.

This jeeping hobby can leave you broke. Seems like an endless list of stuff you could buy for a jeep.

I've been driving off road in the sand for years. This rock crawling stuff is completely new.

Is there a trail etiquette one should follow?

I think a saturday run to big bear in a couple months once the weather gets a little warmer would be fun.

If your rig is set up to work honestly I don't think any of us care what you bring
.

Alot of us have some pretty built up jeeps. I have no problem leading and spotting the group through gold mountain. I think that's a good medium trail with some challenges on a jeep with 33" + tires. We could get a stock jeep through with a good driver but its going to get some bumps and bruises along the way.

hit it early and then do lunch as a group?

'06 Rubicon, 4" Full Traction on 35's.
It gets around OK.

Getting impatient, been a couple of weeks, Drew still waiting on stuff from poisen spyder, then still has to go to powdercoat. Does it usually take PS that long to ship stuff out?

I ordered my PS stuff through Northridge and had it under a week the powder coat took 4 days.

I would say it just depends on the stock they have when the order is placed.....I know at times its tough for them to keep stuff in stock.

You could always go with a different brand so we all don't end up having identical jeeps...haha

Lol - PS should run a banner here and support the site for a bit. Will be pretty funny when we have a jeep run to see all the RDP edition models. :D

I love all of my PS stuff. It looks and fits great.

With that said this is getting kind of ridiculous and I might need to change my game up to stand out in a crowd:D:skull

PS has a 3-4 week backorder. Might switch it up and run the Evo bumpers since I'm running Evo for everything else. Who else makes some nice fenders?

Seems like the Evo stuff is more geared to the serious rock crawler guys, and not into the look per say.

PS has been very good to me.....

With that said if I was paying full pop I would be looking at http://shop.crawlerconceptz.com/

Call shad and see if he will sharpen that pencil a bit and hook you up with a package deal.

I have called for some other members and his prices/quality is very hard to beat.

genright and metal cloak also make fender flares... (i dont love the metal cloaks but there a good company)

Did you end up using the factory arms?

Yes, just had to change out lower control arm. Mel told me long arm wasn't needed until I went to 37's.

New to this jeeping stuff. Went out last weekend to Pilot Rock truck trail, just the wife and I. Didn't want to get into any trouble, so picked a mellow scenic ride. Nice views of Silverwood and ended up in Arrowhead.

Let me know when you guys go out, would love to tag along and learn some things.

Some pics from Moab. Beautiful place, 1 week was not enough. Tried to cram as much wheeling and sightseeing in as possible, now wore the eff out. Next time 2 weeks.

Portal RV Resort was nice but too many rules for my style. No noise after 10, no campfires, no alcohol out in the open. Girls almost got us kicked out on the first day.
