I was browsing ebay and came upon this vogue square tail ski it peaked my interest so I bought it (price was right and I might've had a couple drinks in me)

So it shows up and I set it side by side with a glass 360 I had laying around. Dimensionally they are pretty similar. From the side you can see. Slight difference in rocker. The most notable difference is binding placement between the two. And obviously the triple concave deal on the vogue

Any one ever skied both? What were the differences? Likes dislikes?

I figured I have about 12 360s between wood and fiberglass so checking out some other skis.

I have both (same exact maha). I like the vogue better for my style. I used to ski on an old formica taperflex 2 until I got too big for it.

I've skied them both. Vogue is heavier and set up as a jumper. It loves the chop. Sets nice after the jump. Dies a little in a hard turn.
It's hard to beat the Maha. The glass ski slaps the water a little bit after a jump. Both are fun. Good score. Enjoy

The Vogue is old school, before people thought about skiing wrapped up. It's also important to note the taper at the rear of the 360. That should aid in tracking and turning. I still have my first Vogue concave (single concave) ski, tons of miles on that thing over the years. At some point I pulled it apart and got the horseshoes stripped and anodized blue to go with the stripes in the ski.

Interesting. I guess by the feedback. It was a good find. [emoji106]with 360s and the price they are fetching it's good to know there are some alternatives.

My Dads Big Boy square back, I would guess 40 + years old.
My 360, not so old.

It is. It's in pristine condition, never been smoked on. I also have several vogue square backs...but that's what I ski on.

Let me know if it ever becomes for sale. I have been picking up square back vogues as well. they are a fun ski and considerably less than a 360.
