I had the Carb rebuilt and I was having some timing issues last weekend. Barry(obnoxious001) came over Sunday morning and had me dialed In within a few minutes. So we headed out for lunch at foxs.

Should be out for the 4th. I need to rework the "scoop" so many excess holes it keeps coming apart. Paul "OD1" helped me diagnose the wiring issues with the hatch ram, turns out the fuse block doesn't have good connections so I will be replacing that.

What were you running before?

What's next?

It's 3 Blade Mirage, 23p I think? Whatever the stock one is.

My buddy has 13.5 diameter 25p 4 blade.

Going to try a few different props now that it is "turn key" so to speak.

I must have missed this thread, I'm pretty sure i installed the Char-Lynn helm in this boat like 4-5 years ago, Quicky friday job converted it from cable assit to full hydraulic, Boat was, well, hammered :D. Definitely needed some glass work structurally.

Anyway cool find hammer, little by little you're getting it dialed in.

I thought I posted these from the 4th. Guess not. Drivers seat started coming apart. [emoji107]🏻 I also started losing fuel pressure Saturday morning, only had a bout 3 lbs. when I put it on the trailer. Old carb may go back on. I had horrible fuel mileage over the weekend.

If it's not in the lounge or the Political section threads don't get much play around here. Lol

Thanks. Ya it needs glass work for sure, "hammered" is a good term. Lol [emoji2] I will pull the floors out in Nov.-Dec. and go from there. I need a shop at home, I have no place to work on it and I don't necessarily want to pay someone else to fix everything. I'd like to say I built or fixed some of it.

The helm is loose and starting to crack the dash. Is it still under warranty? [emoji12]

The warranty on that thing expired the second the shop door shut behind it. :D

Boat looks good Hammer! At least you're able to run it and enjoy it this summer. Keep fixing the little issues and enjoy it. In the picture with your Hallett and Outdrive's Schiada, there is the all white 22' Schiada. Wasn't that the boat that was for sale for awhile on CL? Who picked it up??

I just found your thread here Mike. I like how you roped Vossmeyer into helping. Lol! You go bring it home to do the floors? Maybe I'll tow mine down there one weekend and we can do both at the same time. Hahaha!!

I'm down with a tear down party! We just need a place big enough. No room at my plave[emoji107]🏻

I saw that. I think he wants to trade for a standard lower, these are -2 DPM lowers. I'd love a bitchin looking IMCO lower, like what Coke trickle and Riverbound got from b&d.

I think Eggbeatinyourass has an imco -2 lower for sale. Not sure if he is only selling it as a package with the upper or not. He's a good dude. He lives here in Heritage too.

Here is the new bullet. Dropped it off to have it balanced and reassembled. Debated purchasing new Pistons In order to run a larger chamber head, that way if I chose to go to a forced induction set up down the road I could use the same large chamber head, as it sits I'd have to run a smaller chamber head and/deck them to attain my goal. Won't know for sure until I have the clearances checked out.

No blower?

Thought you were putting a whipple or something on?

The EFI Whipple motor is finished, it may be going in something else. This is an entirely different engine, 2 drives and now a motor for each drive. :D I am also thinking of going to EFI on this engine. Decisions..decsions...

The motor and Drive(s) will be. Depending on funds (my GF likes to vacation a lot.. lol) I'd like to have the entire boat done by march/april of next year. Build a trailer after that.

These came in for the Hamlett. She's been flawless so far while I've been stacking chips and putting a list together on where to start. Debating waiting until the season is over to put the new mill in her. We will see.

Tried a small diameter 25p for blade and lost a few MPH. Went back to the 3 blade Mirage. Not sure if I care to try several props out, this isn't a hot rod by any means. Tach gets up around 5100 be nice to get a few more R's out of her And get into 70 MPH range.

Have a power steering leak that needs to be addressed as well as the mechanical trim gauge sticking. Other than that she has been a great boat.

Something like these? EMI short vents, also picked up 4.5" pop up cleats. If you order the vents don't forget the adapters that go under them. ( ask me how I know that, lol )
