I caught my first King just upstream of Big Eddy in 1971.
Going with a guide or do you have buddies with a boat?
I grew up beating the entire River from the Russian mouth, to Skilak, to lower Skilak all the way to the mouth.

Well its almost that time of year again. Headed up to fish the Kenai. Cant wait. Hopefully get a halibut charter in. But we will be killing the reds.

My only trip to AK we stayed in a B&B on the Kenai in Soldatna. So beautiful. :thumbsup
If you get to Soldatna, have a couple cold ones at Good Time Charlies.....WTG's got his initials carved into the bar and shithouse walls in several places.:skull:champagne:
