Headed to Catalina for the 4th. Officially sold the river boat two weekends ago so my summer is going to be spent on the ocean. Luckily I have a good deal working with the grandparents. I take care of their boat, get to use it whenever they aren't, pay for my fuel and forward on the repair bills [emoji12]. 1/2 day of work tomorrow then leaving for Whites Cove at o-dark thirty Thursday morning. Nice!! My cousin has a 65' sail boat docked in san pedro. Been years since we did a Catalina run and just saw him at a wedding. He is retired now and down to go out whenever. A friend also just bought a nice Parker fishing boat. No excuses now not to hit the local waters when not at the river.

Had a great trip. Weather was just about as good as it gets for Catalina and nobody got eaten by sharks or died of cold water [emoji12]
