There's a bunch of stuff on craigslist just thought I'd try here first

We just raised $10k to buy one of our administrative assistants a new car...her black Civic is a 2002 LX Coupe, has about 200k miles. She put $4k into it over the last year, seems to runs good and has decent life left on the tires. Carmax offered $1500 for it...

If you're still working around Playa Vista you're welcome to come by and check it out.

Not really......3K will get him around the 99-2000 range for a Civic. I spent 2600 for a 91 CRX for my son that is tits. 160k miles on it. Been a solid car for him. All stock. He's already pimped it out. Bad ass lil car.

Jumping to 4 K will really make a difference. Been peeping myself in this range for a Civic Coupe. They're out there. Just gotta search. Even in the 02-04 range. Just stay away from the modded cars. :thumbsdown

Even if u jump up to 4 or 5K.....using it for 3 or 4 years will definitely pay off. Jump on the one above man. Sounds like some money was already put into it that u won't have to spend as well. :thumbup:

I have 1 2008 VW Passat Wagon I might let go for 3K. Its in good shape with 137K-ish miles. runs good, everything works and gets nearly 30 MPG more if you keep it around 70 and about 22-24 MPG around town. I can take some pics if your interested.

This makes me feel better, I just sold a 04 Jetta TDI with 137k for $6k, I felt like I gave it away. 44mpg but manual.

Today i sold a 2008 Lexus IS220 AWD fully loaded with 93K mikes in perfect condition all records and dealer serviced, 11 months of registration remaining and fresh oil change for $15,000. We had it listed for Months at $16,000 and no interest, except dealers wanting to low ball. Listed it for $15,000 Tuesday, accepted full price offer Wednesday getting picked up tomorrow. I feel like we are giving it away. Im sick to my stomach but i don't need 4 cars for 2 drivers.

Sold our 2001 RX 300 a few years back with 260K to our housekeeper of 20+ years for $2,500 she's still driving it. I would still be sick over that one except she is like family.

Every time i sell a car I feel like i got the short end of the the deal.

And to top it off Wifey told me to fill ip the Lexus and get it washed for the young girl who bought it.

I'd use that and poke around cl to see what the average one goes for to get an idea of what you should pay. Pretty simple

I've always used XACT tinting in Ontario near the 15 and Jurupa. If I remember correctly, his name is Luis. I've refered a few board members there that have been happy with his work.

The saturn is official. I wasn't able to get the ac running so of anyone knows a guy. [emoji4] gonna try and tint tomorrow
