Well I waited to see if they got all the bugs worked out. Everyone I talk to says the issues with these have been minimal. I had a feeling my old 6.4 was about to start giving me hell. So I traded it in before it turned into a money pit. Man I am loving the 6.7, this motor has some balls 440hp and 860ft lbs. Hoping to have the leveling kit and 35s on by this weekend. Can't wait to put the boat behind it and see how she pulls. I'm headed to the river this weekend to test it out. 20150726_194440.jpg

conGRADSulations! We have a 2015 6.7 and when I say we can barely feel the boat behind it I'm dead serious.

I heard those trucks have to have the cab pulled off the chassis just for a basic oil change.... :rotflmao:

Maybe not an oil change but everything else yes. It's been like that for quite a few years. My 2006 had an oil leak under warranty and they had to pull the cab.

I have a 2015 F350.

On the last leg of an 1100 mile trip through the Sequoia's, Yosemite, and down the coast.

Truck has been a beast. Absolutely leveled out any hill pulling my 40' trailer.

I'm just thankful that Ford gives me a puppy when I buy a truck. That way I don't have to walk alone when it takes a shit [emoji106]

I have a 2013 F450 with the 6.7L and I absolutely love the truck. I pull a 39' 5th wheel toy hauler loaded with a buggy, 200 gallons of water and all of our crap and the truck tows amazing well even up steep grades.

Haha I remember you using that line in a post a while back. So I asked the salesman wheres my pup this thing is supposed to come with for that reason. He laughed.

Another reason I stick with ford is they didn't take the bail out like some other manufacturers.

Ford did a good job with smoke and mirrors on that deal but nothing further from the truth.

Come on dude don't take the wind outta my sails, I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. I'm just stoked on my new ride but to me theres a big difference between a bailout and a loan. I had to do some research for myself during my search for a new truck. I'm glad the big 3 auto makers are still around after weathering the storm we all went through in 2009. I'm not a totally one sided person as far as brand goes either I also own a chevy truck and there's a GM based motor in my boat. It's all a bunch of political BS that I dont want to get into cause everyone has their own opinion.

I'm not saying this is the reason I bought a ford. I bought a Ford because it's what I wanted. Everyone has a different opinion on what brand is better and I think they are all good trucks that each have their own flaws.

I am glad it was not you primary reason. Their trucks are very good looking.

I put up a thread in the political section, this is not the place. BTW I own two Fords.

My friend's Leo and Emily have one. I will say it (being more of a chevy guy) that is the nicest truck I've ever been in. Rides like you are on a cloud, runs like a dream and comfortable as all hell

Careful with the smog stuff.... I have almost the exact same set up- trailer and truck and I just had to get my 2013 F450 smoged.

I did mine also but there's always ways around it............

Very cool!

Just over the weekend coming down the 101 I saw an older expedition with the roof off like an old Blazer/Bronco and I thought it was super cool to see. Never seen that before, not sure if that is a common thing that people do.

Really nice truck.

I am waiting for the 2017 that is supposed to come with the Coor's can body and be about 700 pounds lighter.

We will see.

We have the 2015 6.7 and it tows our boat (4400 lbs + trailer) like there is nothing behind it. 70 mph up any hill with cruise on and is a piece of cake and when I pass the big trucks up the 10 to Chiriaco; it pulls like a freight train. For towing, it's better than good.

Only downside so far is the Auber-plastic interior.

How do you like the quality of his work? I was looking into that a while back. I know it's pricey but they do look awesome!

Hulihan does not post much anymore but had his stolen out of his driveway in a nice neighborhood. He added a few things to make it so it can not be removed so easily.

Yep, this is what they said. I always keep mine locked for this very reason.

Man, that's a ton of dough for a tailgate! I can believe it though with matching paint and a built in camera on a replacement.

Not a huge fan.... It look s like the F150's and Super Duty's will share the same cab.

Not sure that I care for the front end on that 2017. Looks too much like the Family Truckster to me...
