Just a quick favor

A bearing failed in this causing the pulley to rub against the housing.

When all that happened it pushed some material around so we take the pulley and make the recess concentric with the pulley and then added a chamfer.. Total project took about ten minutes.

But now this should be ready to go hit the water again.

When that pump grenaded, did it cause oil pressure problems and shut the engine down?

Would a low oil pressure situation trigger an engine shutdown? I know it will eventually, but is there a device that will automatically kill a motor in the event of low oil pressure?

I have to say your abilities when it comes to machining amazes me. I wish I had 1/16th of that talent. Glad to see you doing more and more of it. :thumbup:

I just read this right now.. I can't believe Billdo actually said something nice to me online!

I think I'm going to print this out and hang it on my wall like the businesses do with their first dollar bill!
