Very nice & clean! That Howard model has too be the biggest 22ft open-bow I've seen & has so much room inside. What a Great Lake boat! I'll be surprised if it's not sold within in a week.

I had one just like it but it was red and white. When you parked it next to other 24 foot boats it looked the same size.

This boat was for sale on the board last year and I remember when I saw it, I WANTED it, but the timing wasn't right. These rarely come on the market so I would expect it to be gone fairly soon. How many hours??

330 on the gauge. I'm going to scan it today and get an accurate reading.

Sir,
What's the total, on the trailer length, of this boat? Does it have sway away tongue? Hard to see in the pics. Thanks

Damn I should tell the wife sorry I lost the cash for the suburban and just buy this and stash it in the garage [emoji13] now that I know two boats fit in the garage that's all that runs through my mind all day [emoji15]

No, probably low 70's. Deep v's have less lift so more drag on the water. Trade off for a better ride in the rough.

Damn that's better than I thought. I figured mid 60's with that motor

Will this run close to 80 w the Ho?

The 496 HO is 425HP. I have the same boat with 502 Mag (415HP). The other morning on Havasu in smooth water with half tanks and by myself, I hit 72 (according to speedometer) at 4900. I was still pretty weighted down though with EZUP in ski locker, a full AO cooler under the dash and a bunch of other stuff we take on the lake.

Fully loaded with full tanks and wife / kids, I hit mid 60's all day long.

Haven't hit the rev limiter so maybe a 26p or labbed 24 I could get those numbers up. Previous owner said mid 70's was as fast as he got it. They are not light boats and really are made to crush everything thrown at them with the deep V. I usually run my boat between 45 - 55 mph and love it there.

Yeah.....yeah......yeah. I know the differences, that is why I disclosed that it wasn't GPS. I really don't care personally, I don't like driving my boat fast anyway since I always have the family on board. If I can't go 80+ then there is no reason to try and keep up with those guys, we just leave before them and enjoy the sight and sound as they blow past :p

Back the the original topic though. With the 496HO, this boat will definitely be in the 70's with light load and good conditions.
