Ok. I'm going to put a mechanical trim gauge in. So I'm not buying another trim gauge.

I have water pressure. Fuel level. Volts. Temp. Not sure what add here. Don't really want to gel my dash because the yellow is never going to match.

I could make a bezel for the mechanical indicator that covers the hole. Don't really need a switch panel. I think stereo remotes are kinda cheesy and I didn't plan on putting a stereo in if.

Idk. Give me some ideas people. There's a radius that starts about 2 inches from the gauge. These are monster sized 2 5/8 plus the bezel. The custom color gauges in Monster sized are 154.00 each so I don't want to waste the purchase.

With an outboard you don't really need any other gauges. If you had to do something a fuel pressure gauge would be about it. If you want to patch it Kornowski will match that color in his sleep.

Less is more. That's probably the best solution.

That steering wheel looks pimp! Have RD machine a piece of billet that can go in the bezel that has the Schiada logo, power coat it to match the wheel. If it was the old OD1 you could back light it disco style. :D

In true Schiada fashion...... Some one off orange gauges. Took two months to get the sample and then the rest. IMG_3882.jpg IMG_3879.jpg IMG_3881.jpg

Now I want to do something with the gel and fix all the imperfections. Fml.

How 'bout a clock? I sat in my cruiser the other day and remembered that it has one and kinda chuckled, but at the same time, I kinda like it

With a 280, fuel pressure isn't a bad idea.

That's been my thinking honestly. I'm sure it can't be too difficult to add a sending unit or hose for a mechanical one. That's literally the only functional gauge I could add.

The other alternatives are.

A switch panel. Yet I already have everything covered. The boat literally has lights and bilge only.

Dana Marine makes a gauge hole cover. I've seen them before, they don't look horrible but they are obvious.

A stereo head unit. They have new head units that fit in a gauge hole and are Bluetooth. I really didn't want to add a stereo. I don't want speaker holes. I don't want a stereo without a sub and this boat really doesn't need any more weight. It's balanced perfectly now.

Or fill it. There are stress cracks here and there. The rub rail is old. I don't love the graphics below the rub rail. It might as well be capped at this point and just yellow from the rub rail down. The bottom has scratches. So a gauge hole would cost 6/7k. lol. I want to do it but it's my slow season and Christmas is coming. That will have to wait until next year sometime before I make any major purchases.

So fuel pressure it will be. [emoji106]. Lol.

I am pretty sure anybody that has ever owned a boat can relate exactly to the "thinking out loud" that you just typed right there. Ha ha. Boat looks awesome.

I ran mechanical fuel pressure on my cyclone. Super easy. Tapped in right below the fuel rail. My thought was with it there I could see if the fuel filter started having an issue as well. You could possibly do it right after the fuel pump.
I used something like this.

Fuck that old gauge hole IMG_6261.jpg

Fixed all the stress cracks and sprayed the bottom. The bottom had been on more beaches than a DCB in the channel.

Got a sports master case. It's at Joe's. He's super busy but hopefully I'll get it later this week. He ended up having a shaft for me too. Thanks for the offer.

Motor is done and going back on at Joe's now. Gel turned out great. It had an orange line from a repair years ago because the dash was never the same color as the other yellow. Now it all matches, no more stress cracks. It's still ugly ass yellow but it's really grown on me. IMG_6567.jpg IMG_6570.jpg IMG_6568.jpg
