What do you watch while working out? I am tired of searching for movies or boring shows while exercising that just don't have the right tempo. Can't seem to keep my mind off the clock. What is your go to show or do you just listen to music?

If you have trouble "keeping your mind off the clock?" Maybe try a dif way/type of cardio that you enjoy more.Music over video anyday..

The issue I have playing music during cardio is singing to myself and people near me think I'm talking to them.. I'll watch a movie on my phone doing cardio.

I just listen to what ever they are playing in the gym. I don't know how you guys get on a treadmill, elliptical or bike and ride for X period of time. I used to do that and I'm not sure how I did it...I could never go back to that....I have no advice on this one.

There is no such thing and enjoying cardio.

I used to think the same way.The majority of my cardio was walking.I had huge anxiety issues over losing mass amounts of cash. Action defeats anxiety.
Get on a bike with a trail.Take long walks.Pesronally? When I see peeps@gym on treadmills. I cringe.
What all of u are doing here is awesome.
Just keep in mind. This has to be a
lifestyle change.. Part of your everyday
routine.Like brushing your teeth, showering. If not? U setting yourself up for failure..

The good news for everyone else is I am only gonna be a one time winner. I have 18 more lbs to lose and only plan on 6-8 per month until April 28th. Everyone did freaken amazing and I know this group can keep it up. Hell I couldn't have done it without the support, comradery, and advise around here. Those of you that only feel like they lost a couple of lbs and lost motivation keep with it. You didn't gain all that weight over night, but it can and will fall off if you try.

Getting out and doing cardio is a bit nicer. I would like to get a mountain bike and go ride the desert where I live. But they are expensive. I would also like to get another dirt scooter and start hitting the track again. But for now, my money is going to my boat/boating season and trying to buy a house in Havasu.

Just to show what a few days off a diet will do. On Mondays weigh in I was completely disappointed 321.4lbs. Last Tuesday weighed in at 317lbs, That Tuesday we started a job where we only left the site for a few hours a day from 3 am to 7am till Saturday. So all food was provided. Subway,Carne asada burritos, Pizza, Panda Express and all the junk food you could imagine. I ate as little as possible and drank water only. Fast forward to just now 5 days back on the diet and 314.8! 6.9 lbs of sodium and lord only knows what else...

Angry gangsta rap does it for me :D I don't really prefer rap any other time except when working out/ running. Definitely fires me up like crazy.

If you have Spotify, shoot me a PM and I'll share my workout playlist.

Thread's gone a little quiet.............everyone hanging in there???

For me I'm having fun going through the closet and putting my "Fat clothes" (38 & 40" waist, 2XL Tees) in Mothballs cycling into my "Regular" (36" waist XL Tees) clothes......another 4-6 weeks of this and I hope to be in my "Skinny clothes" (34" waist, LG Tees).............The weight is cool and a measure but getting into the next size(s) down is the real reward........hopefully you guys are all seeing similar changes????:tbi

Are you guys all weighing in each week??

I used to weigh in every day and found that it was much too schizophrenic for me at least, and doing the weekly weigh in is really a better indicator of the overall progress......just wondering how the rest of you guys measure your progress.....do you check on a periodic basis or just jump on the scale (and hope) from time to time???

Keep it up guys.....we're at the toughest part of the journey.....now is the time to be strong and re-commit yourselves if you have had a hiccup or 2 :tbi

4 days at the river food wise didn't do too good, didn't go prepared so i knew what i was in for, did walk few times and only drank one day so guess that was a victory.

Stay strong everyone. This is the time you plateau... keep at it and think of the payoff come boating season. Expect 1-2 pounds per week. If you slip... don't give up and just get back on the program. :)

We had some friends in town this last weekend and my diet went to crap. I guess vodka and beer lunches aren't the same as protein shakes. I'm back at it! It's amazing how crappy I felt...never realized how different I feel with good clean eating.

Yogurt for lunch is ridiculous. We need to get you on a better program. First question is why yogurt??

I actually like it. I've been eating the Triple Zero Greek stuff and some veggies.

Yogurt is bad? [emoji15]
No it isn't bad. Maybe try grilling some chicken breasts and mixing those in with veggies instead of the yogurt. Got to change things up to stay consistent.

So, I haven't been as strict as the first month with my diet, but I am eating better / healthier food. Busy work schedule has been kinda putting a kink in my plans. But I have kept my 22lb weight loss and haven't gained anything back. Still on track to lose more weight!

We are a little over a week away from the next weigh in. How is everyone doing? I know that the Billy B Show this weekend may have effected some of you, but other than that, hopefully everyone shows some solid gains! Looking forward to paying out another $275.00 to this months winner!
