Most shops would set it on piers and do the work from the ground. It's only a 20 though. I would think you could strap it and roll it using a pair of overhead hoists.

If you (or a friend) can weld, make 2 end 'piers', that resemble 'rotating engine stands' at their tops . One end would have a provision to attach to the bow eye, the other would use a metal plate to bolt to your O/D cut out mounting holes .

Having an 'A' frame or at least a rolling engine hoist will make the job quicker, but are not required .

Making the piers, you would need to make them 'rotational' on their ends and also able to be 'raised or lowered' from the floor, up and down . (use floor jacks to do this)

You may get away with only 'tilting' the hull 90 degrees to one side then the other, rather than fully turning it 180 degrees and trying to work, 'very high up off the ground' .

I would NOT rest the hull on it's side without holding up the gross weight at both ends, that kind of 'side load' could crack/break the "hull to deck tabbing", and most certainly will "tear out the rivets" if the hull is 'riveted with any 3M glue/sealers in the seams' .

These 'piers' are not hard to make, and the boat won't fall on you unless your welds are bad ........

Both ends 'rotate', and can accept a 'drilled plate', or a 'drain hole fitting' .

You would need a little more 'stand off distance' for your swim step ......

Simple and easy .
