Holy crap I went boating today...and surprised the wife.

Wow it had been a long time! Finally got to take the boat out today. Last time was in July. Unfortunately because of the fast rising water level and shifting winds there was a lot of driftwood floating and I decided it was better not to run it too much and take the chance of hitting something.

Not to mention the whole reason for the trip was to surprise my wife and take her to the beach that we met at 23 years ago. Tomorrow is our 15th wedding anniversary and I thought it would be a cool place to give her the gift I got for her. Happy wife, happy life.:thumbsup

At the dock....sounds very mellow with the mufflers. That will change once I put the dry pipes on.

And then there were these?:yikes:yikes I'm guessing someone dumped them because last time I checked there are no dungeness crab in Folsom Lake.

You're probably referencing the boat in my avatar. That's my old 28' which did have twins. My 28' and 25' look a lot alike.

I'm no idiot....by getting married on Valentine's Day I essential wiped Valentine's Day off the calendar because we celebrate our anniversary on that day and it's almost impossible to forget it.:thumbsup

It was my wife's idea. Not mine!

Congrats to both of you. I'm very happy you kept your badass 25 and I look forward to our incredible wives getting to meet someday soon. My wife asked me if our 25 is faster than your ride and I said I like our chances.

My best guess would be that someone went crabbing last time they had their boat out and forgot they had them in there and dumped them in the lake? They were right by the launch ramp.
