Happy Sunday. Our truck got the shakes yesterday coming back from Havasu? Felt like all the tires were footballs. The truck was shaking and vibrating so violently. Limped back to Parker with a top speed of 30 mph. Going back to Havasu and need to grab a rental car. WTF?

2006 GMC Crew cab 6.0 gas 4x4 short bed. Stock, no lift kit.

130,000 miles.

Driving smooth as silk then bam, vibrations hit on the 95 about 10 miles outside of Havasu. We did not hit anything. .. Came out of the blue.

You know. ... I just had balance and rotation a couple of weeks ago. I pulled over when this happened thinking maybe a flat. The rear passenger tire was missing a weight. I changed that tire with the newly balanced spare and it did not fix the problem.

Gotcha. Sweet spot was 30mph. No vibrating or shaking. As we increased speed the vibrating increased. Slow speeds we are fine.

Truck's driver side rear tire was separating. Just hung up with Lane. Really glad it was nothing expensive! Guess we are going back this weekend to pick it up.

Parker & Havasu sure could use a tire shop that is open on Sunday's, especially for trailer tires.

And I will add... Parker Shuttle Rocks :thumbsup John, Jeanette and J.R. drove us around Parker the rest of Saturday, Saturday night and then up to Enterprise Car Rental in Havasu on Sunday. Cool people and a great service.

And Natalie at Enterprise hooked up us. Even with the one way drop fee (Havasu to Oceanside) the late model, very clean Chevy Impala was $117. That's how much gas for the truck costs

So we will do the same thing this weekend. We'll rent and drop off back in Havasu. And maybe eat at Rusty's again.
