2016 Mini Enduro

Alright, last year I fricken busted ass to get my mini ready to go for the mini Enduro.... Then it was cancelled, but my mini was still ready to go by that race!

So how many mini's need to be pre-register so we can lock in this race?

I know of currently 10 minis that WILL commit

I'm only a bottom mold closer than last year . Things move slowly in Havasu .

I do have a 50 hp Force and a 60hp Merc if anyone needs to borrow power for the race . (no good props though)

What do the rules say about 439CC 2 stroke jets ? I could buy one of my old 1988 boats and race it .

I saw one for sale on Mohave County Craig's List, the owner is in the SF Bay area and he only wants $2900, running on a trailer .

Is the company Skat Trak, still in the 'jet ski impeller' business ?

I'm in! I have a 10' Schiada and possibly a 12'r if it's ready in time.

Line a few up for this year! We need to get this going to try and save it from being canceled again

So I have a few ideas for the rules for the Mini Enduro. If any one here has better ideas or disagrees, don't be afraid to post! We can easily make this easy, fun, and simple.

2 classes:
-Mini's up to 10.6'
-Mini's from 10.6' - 12'

-Unlimited size motors, but a max speed of 55 mph

- 1.5 Hour long race with 1 stop

-Race from Blue water to the public launch ramp (like how the enduro used to be a few years back)

-Must have a kill switch & safety gear

-You will have 2 winners. 1 winner will win a class (either 10'r or 12'r), the other will win the other class & the overall mini enduro.

-THE FIRST PERSON WHO CROSSES OVER THE FINISH LINE FIRST AFTER SO MANY LAPS WINS THE SHOW!!!! Mini's dont need to be timed

I'm always game for that. I just remember someone saying APBA said the speed limit HAD to be 55 MAX for the minis .

I'd love to race the mini...big race would require about 34 fuel stops

Does it have to be a Schiada? Eliminator tunnel ok? Crusader mini ok? Daytona mini ok?

Last year I watched all my guys with Mini's pull every excuse in the book as to why they "couldn't or rather "wouldn't" run them. I'm not sure I'm gonna waste my time on it again. Rules are all good and ready to go from last year if you guys want to do it, but until I get actual commitments I wouldn't bother putting it on the schedule again.
