Who's going to Stagecoach this year?

pre dawn, its already busy! ferris wheel lights are on, motorhomes everywhere. Still windy. I don't like country but it looks like a fun crowd.

I'm getting ready to leave Chino for Havasu. How is traffic in Coachella? Should I take the 40 instead?

Coachella starts today so it might not be too bad but It might be safe to take the 40 in case....about the same amount of time either way without traffic.

Yea I think the 40 is safest especially Sunday on the way home.

Took me close to 7 hours to drive home last monday, 5-10 mph from palm desert to 60/91 frwy exchange.

We are going. Staying at an older RV park in Thermal. Leaving soon after a bite to eat.
Cool older park with just the right amount of crazies.

My buddies swung by my house yesterday when I was at work to pick up some of my yard games to take to Stagecoach. This year I ended up at work rather than Stagecoach or Desert Storm. I definitely won't let this happen next year :grumble:

careful driving. was headed to river last Thursday morning. was being passed by little cars, full of kids and all there stuff. going easily over 100 mph. in and out of traffic from #1 lane #4 lane. that was the craziest shit i have seen) no thanks i would of told driver to pull over > i am taking uber.

Sunday you have to deal with all the motorcycles coming from Laughlin on the 40, most won't leave Stagecoach until late Sun night or Monday.

KABC reports 400,000 attending for both events at $300 per ticket.

Snoop dog came on stage last night. Great show! It sucks to sit so far back but the video screens are spread out pretty good for viewing. More T&A here then Havasu on a holiday weekend.

The RV camp at Stagecoach is the best part.
