3.9L 4BT Diesel Conversion

The Cummins 4BT turbo diesel is the perfect option for the Jeep enthusiast wanting to improve their vehicle?s fuel efficiency and off-road capability. In addition to boasting increased fuel efficiency, the 4BT is also capable of running alternative fuel sources like Waste Vegetable Oil. All model years of the Wrangler platform, up to 2011, can utilize this conversion.

That lil cummins swap is something that always intrigued me.
I can see the allure with the mileage.
On the other hand when one buys a vehicle with the aerodynamics of a barn.....
The engine weighs some 740+ lbs.
About two hundred more than the 4.0 inline or a sbc.
The allure of an LS swap becomes more appealing.Lighter than any of those other 3,also fuel injected(as the 4.0 is,and a gen 2 sbc isn't all that hard to inject either)and geared right might come close to the lil oil burner on mileage.

All fiberglass?
The hood looks sweet:thumbsup
Not sure I would like glass(soft) corner panels?
Nice Jeep.:thumbsup

The corner panels are more for the new tail lights. These are all of the first parts out of the mold. I'm just test fitting them for now. Going to be making them out of carbon fiber to see how they look and work out.
