Beautiful, is that your center console?....taking a look at them lately, I have been playing on my new to me 25 Baja Outlaw and realize its not real practical for what I'm doing...twins are a must.

FYI Poncho:
2011 Boston Whaler took over production of Trophys with Mercury or Yamaha rigging and engines. Boston Whaler standard hulls, top shelf Mercury electrical and controls (compared to OMC that is).
I know some people don't like the former Bayliner/OMC connection, but some used deals to be made on a really improved product in the used market from desperate guys trying to get out from under their monthly note. What they ask and what they'll accept are numbers far apart.
I like the Yamaha versions. You can flush the engines with fresh water from the boats own fresh tank without running the engine.
They should have dropped the Trophy name.

Thanks, I'm sucking up all the knowledge I can at this point...I was rafted with 3 Pro-Lines yesterday, friends of mine. I'm really liking the walk arounds with a berth.

I stopped and looked at a 2011 Pro-Line 23 walk around the other day, $52000.00, commission deal, poor owner is stuck with a boat that won't sell for more than $30,000.00 around here.

At the Marina where I have a slip, the shop guy's say go Yamaha if used and Verado's if new...not big fans of the Suzuki's which seem to be on the majority around here.

Friend of mine is having Sonic build him one with 3 Verado 400R's right now, should be done soon, going to be sick.

Good day to you.:thumbsup

That is going to be so excellent.
We noticed driving around the South Suzukis everywhere.
I think Zuki is the first to move up to more power and it gets sales momentum going a few years ahead of everyone else.

A guy at the NPB Yacht Club has $140K in his 2 year old, asking $90K, best offer he's had $55K.

The dealers are asking too much for new relying on impulse buyers with credit.
Used is the only way to fly.

Friends boat. They take it over to the Bahamas for the summer.
Built by a small builder in Florida called TwinVee. Handles rough water surprisingly well for a 26. He had some mods done to make it a little less "industrial". The motors(kinda small IMO lol) can be flushed with out running.

Passed by M/Y Invictus early this morning just inside the outer rigs off Huntington. She spent the weekend in Newport and was headed back to MDR, I was coming back from Catalina.

Guy sure has it made. I'd take any of the "little" boats he has tied up at the Newport house.

Hahaha. Yea. I remember that day. Kelly was having some issues backing ;)
Granted that suburban wasn't the easiest to back up when there was a wall of 12 12" subs and zero view out the back! :D

Those are awesome. My son has a few.

Funny story - three weeks ago when the above pics were taken, Sunday night over off Long Point I am standing on the swim step in the dark taking a piss.
A flying fish hit me in the small of the back and lands somewhere in the boat.

In my skiv's, spreader lights on, 1:30 am, moving heaps of scuba gear trying to find that slimy, stinky, no eating, freaks of nature. :):)

Rule - Flying fish smell horrid if left to die.

Bummer your giving up the ocean life. Is it just the trailer that is detouring you or just the heaping amount of work needed to maintain an ocean boat?

Flying fish pretty prevalent out there? Used to see them every trip. Haven't seen any in over 10 years. They'd routinely fly over the boat while we're running.

Last year none as its my understanding they do migrate. This year we had to turn the under water transom lights off because, they would gather at the back of the boat, then get spooked, and fly everywhere.

If you hold your hand out they swim up to look and you can grab em but they are so slimy you can hold on. The seals make them fly for the most part. Sometimes we find them dead on the beach.

The kids no longer come over to the island, the wife rarely, and the work has become more than it's worth for just me.
For what I'm spending I can just get a nice room and take the cattle boat over.

What kind of boat?

Also on the flying fish subject a friend of mine had one fly in an open porthole to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Woke up in the morning to go use the facilities and there was blood all over and the bathroom looked like a murder scene [emoji12]

Shotgun, 20 miles off Florida coast, running a 55' Sea Ray, flying fish... fun way to the pass the time on the cruise to Key West.

It's a ton of work. I'm bummed, I was hoping to meet you out there one trip. We were going to go in October from SD but as of yesterday, I have shoulder surgery scheduled and so it wont happen until next year.
