I was skiing behind that boat in the picture. It was two years ago and we won our class. Fuck thieves! Todd is a great guy and pours his heart and soul into his boats to be race ready all the time. One of his boats is consistently in the water every weekend. I don't understand why shit like this happens to good people. [emoji35] [emoji107]

I always wonder, to steal such unique, branded boats, sure seems like a huge risk.

Hope they are caught, quickly.

Man that sucks! I too live down the street from there shop. I was always amazed that they left the boats and customer vehicles outside over night. When you do that you are almost asking to have things stolen. Good luck on the recovery effort, I hope they get the basters

Doing a job right by there saw a numbered boat go by earlier but was not one of these. Towed by a white duramax no prop on boat. He had 2 in the driveway yesterday.

Either they will be striped or driven down the coast into Mexico, very seldom do they show up in one piece.

Or even show up at all. Friend had a atleast over here rare Donzi model, one of a kind paintjob. Cut the fence, broke into the garage and just drove of. Quick job, no one saw or heard. And the boat is yet today no where to be found.

This is so much BS, leave others stuff alone.

Damn thieves......Such a waste for beautiful well maintained boats getting cut up and parted out for minimal returns to those assholes.:thumbsdown

Gotta hope for the best they are found intact somewhere soon.

Nobody has called me yet.
I have not reported it to the police yet as they will just tow it. Todd may want to pick it up himself???
If you can PM me his cell phone # I'd be glad to contact him.
If I don't hear soon I'll report it.

Looks like a pretty professional job with the wrap over the identifying parts of the boat.

As much as you want to get your stuff back right away, if insurance is going to get involved you're going to want to call the police and let them know it's been found and not come tow it away.

Just sent a Facebook PM to Tony Scarlata who is friends with the owners wife. Hoping he can get in contact with the family.

Very true. I had a car stolen many years ago. A neighbor found it and called me. I went to the location of the car and called the police to let them know I had recovered the car. LAPD never came out but did take my information over the phone.

The only way you ever get these boats back like this in one piece is when the thieves switch the ID numbers on the boat other than that they're using stripped of the engines and driveS. Sorry to see the final outcome but if I did not chop it up insurance should make it right.

I urge everyone with a boat like this always GPS or Lojack hidden somewhere in your boat this boat could've been found for $10 a month GPS fee.

This is not a crime of opportunity it was well planned and executed.

As an interesting side note this is the second high horsepower go fast boat found stripped in Sylmar in last 2 years . Does anyone remember the "color of money".
