For those of you left out there with mechanical tachs I found a good firm that handles Stewart Warner, Jones and Faria: Bob's Speedometer in Howell MI; 810.632.0400. They know what they're doing, have parts in stock and warranties their repairs. They aren't cheap but good workmanship usually never is.

Thanks. I have a Jones in my Hallett, hooked to the C500. It starts bouncing once it gets above 4K.

That's exactly what my SW did. The guys said it was 'pendulum lubrication' caused whatever the hell that is. Anyway they did fix it and it's smooth to my engine RPM max ($300 later).

Interesting. Mine might have to wait, I guess it can only bounce to the chip.

The speedo repair in Industry is no longer there?
