There is a thread over in the P&G section that we (I) started to derail into all sorts of shit. Fishing came up, so started this thread in the appropriate forum.

What are your plans for the year?

I have Crocodile Bay in Costa Rica October 31 -Nov 6. Then from December 7-14 doing the Amazon again.

Alright guys, here's the deal. I've got the entire camp reserved (8 spots, 2 taken) The trip is 5250,00 all in excluding International airfare to Manauas, Brazil and tips. Air is usually 1500.00 or so for me from Phoenix and tips are 400-600. This is an amazing adventure, totally authentic, right down to the Wei-Wei Indians whom are the boat guides. these peoples were wearing loin cloths and shooting monkeys with blo-guns 10 years ago.

If I sell the whole trip, I get to go for free, which I reduce everyones price by, making it roughly 4600.00.

Lots to do, fishing is ridiculous. Please PM me for any questions or inquiries.

That's a trip of a lifetime. I wish it was a different year or I'd be all over this opportunity. [emoji106]

It's 2017. But I already have 2018 booked as well. They just won't hold trips that far out. (I'm special :p) SO EVERY year is a good year.

They've just built these "cabins" they are air conditioned and all have private showers and toilets, en suite. They have been tents up until this year.

These are built 100 percent on site with indigenous material. They cut the lumber with chain saws by hand, it shows. :D

Signed up for the FLW Bass series this year and currently in 3rd place in the state for non boaters. If I make the team, I will be fishing to make it to the National Championship. Have to make the STate team first of course but, that is looking good at this moment. Last qualifier tournament is next weekend. This is my only fishing plans for the moment.
Two trips to Mexi in the last three months have stuffed my freezers once again.

Nganga that's pretty cool of you to put those trips together! Brazil would be a helluva adventure!

I'm not in a position to make a trip like that anytime soon but it's cool to live vicariously through others! :D

I might sneak on a few overnight trips here in OC or San Diego but nothing more than that planned this year.

Amy and I are planning our honeymoon for next summer and we hope to end up in the Bahamas for a week or two. ;)

I'm sure there is a bonefish on a shallow Abaco flat with my name on it! :D

Absolute trip of a lifetime. Since I was a kid I've wanted to see the Amazon.
Read a book called In Search Of The Primitive by Lewis Cotlow probably a dozen times, even has a shrunken head recipe in it. :yikes

I'll have to also live vicariously through Nganga.

Keep your head full size!:D

Well, my 2016 trip and my 2017 trip are both full. I will post up another as soon as I look at my sporting travel schedule. I will likely do a second 2017 trip in January.

So, stay tuned. The cost wound up being 4600.00 ea. for the group of 8. As I said before, I get my trip for free if we fill all the spots. So rather than be a greedy bastard, I just have the outfitter amortize everyones trip down and everyone gets it cheaper. Great trip, I go every year, sometimes twice.

For anyone interested, the outfitter will be doing the ISE show here in Phoenix (Westworld, Scottsdale) in March or 2017. It is Acute Angling, I will probably be helping out in their booth.

Amazon, you can't go just once.
