It does look great. What will it get for power? It just occurred to me that there is no engine hatch so I'm guessing outboards?

I'd be afraid to walk on the deck, the paint is amazing!

This isn't the same model Kap designed with DW is it?

It's the same model, but I do believe that DW has altered a few parameters with each succeeding race build and these changes are applied to the current RT (pleasure) models. The current specs for the RT are:

33 feet overall with the deck extension

width is 115"

tunnel is 63"

height 86" from keel to top of wrap-windshield

These are great rough water boats, just too wide to tow around to the CA lakes and rivers. Would have to have a tilt trailer to be legal to tow. May be OK if you only wanted to keep at Havasu.

115 is legal width - all you need are wife old signs and an annual permit. Moving boats around with that width is not an issue

Is this a different cowling than Mercury? Or is the mold for doing gel cowlings?

It is the same boat but the steps have been altered and the hatchs and cockpit is different.

I tow my boat everywhere and it has never been a problem.

If your just going to boat on small lakes and rivers this boat is overkill.

Otherwise very versatile boat and handle pretty much anything an average boater can throw at it.
