I have a friend that is in need of an A/C guy. What are the options in Parker?
Thanks!
Thanks!
How much is a pound of R410 going for these days?
Service charge per hour?
Im doing a survey ) Thanks
Retail or wholesale ? Here'a what found on the net and if your A/C guy thinks your butt is cute he might really stick it to you. :finger
"Going off of the $90.00 price for a twenty-five pound cylinder we can find the cost per pound relatively easy. $90.00 divided by twenty-five pounds equals out to $3.60 per pound of refrigerant. Now I have seen multiple air conditioning repair companies quote upwards to $60.00 a pound on R410A"
I used these guys when I was in a pinch. They found the leak. I was very happy....

Like Wheeler said R 410 Cost around $100 for 30 LBS R-22 is around $650 for 30 LBS Anybody selling 410a for more the $15 per pound is ripping you off
If you're running service calls in Parker and not charging anything more than $15/lb for 410. I need you to stop by my house and check my system too.
Let's be real here.
There is a business in this. The cost of the refrigerant is a very small part of this equation. To make a ridiculous statement like "if you're being paying more than xxxx you're being g ripped off" shows that you're not factoring in all of the other costs involved in doing business.
We charge $53.96/lb to add r-410a using super heat/sub cooling to ensure proper charge. This is on top of a $79 diagnostic charge. For someone to say I'm "ripping people off" shows how little business sense this person had as well as how little this person knows what the true cost of business is. I can tell you this much, if rsocia is willing to go to my house in Parker and charge my system. For no more than $15/lb. I will jump all over that. Because I can assure you my cost to go and do said work on my one home exceeds that.
X2,Charlie's dad Chuck Roberson has been servicing a/c in Parker for 30 years.I will get his number when I get back there in 3.5 hours.

Mercury Air, Wheeler, better than anything in Parker IMO, they are down once or twice a week.
Since this thread has some of the biggies in parker, I need 4 or 5 comp shingles replace on my roof, I'm too fat to do it, any referrals to get this accomplished, may even turn into a complete job next year or so.
