My wife has this fear of sinking the truck like that. I always tell her just go really slow and if for some reason the truck and trailer begin sliding back during recovery/ first thing is to unhook the boat. Am I wrong?

So have her get between the truck and the boat / trailer while its sliding down the ramp? Some husbands may think this is a good idea.

I dont think anyone could unhook the boat fast enough if it was sliding down. How are u going to get the tounge off the ball? What happens if u slip, do u become the wheel chock?
