These two boats are some of the baddest Outboard's on the West Coast! Setup and ready to rip!

Tomorrow there is a break in the weather so I'm dropping it in the Lake about 7 ish...these past few days it's been completely blown out.
I've got the first tank mixed at 24:1, will take it easy on it and break it in nicely.

After about an hour or so I did a few blasts, it's fast!
With a 4blade ET 30p I banged out 103 at barely 6300 and 30gal
Rock solid locked in feel! Neutral trim, steering is just tight, the modified bottom still needs to be worked a bit but it handles very well so far.
Will do a few adjustments and go again early next week.

The New Canoe is running like a Cheetah.

After breaking her in she has just put down a 117 mph pass this morning at the Oroville Afterbay. I ran a 30 pitch BBLADES prop, and lifted the engine to 1 3/8" above the bottom. Stable and smooth. There is more here...:hotdevil:hotdevil:hotdevil

I have a brand new 32 pitch BBLADES ready to install... Where's Chuck Yeager when you need him? :headscratch:

The DBR will pull a 34.

Ya they sure do. Too bad they are not allowed to participate in a RACE against boats with 3 times the horsepower or more. Huge crock of crap in my opinion. Maybe the New Canoe can be a sponsor of the RACE next year so he can run it.

It's fast man!

I love this engine, and combo, so much power, it's just fun!

With the new gps and radar rules in effect to keep speeds at or below 110mph will the Canoe 556 boat be allowed to race in 2017?

The rules had been posted with the intention of having all boats participate. The top speed recorded by GPS and radar last weekend was 106 mph in competition.

That's great Ross. Looks like the GPS thing worked out. I watched the intire race on YouTube today and enjoyed every min of it. Made me wanna be out there again. Ya`ll did a good job.
