Transmissions. Who to take them to?

My transmissions are cut down 2 speed torqueflites. They were supposedly built by art carr. With the engines getting redone, and the fact that even in neutral the boat still travels along at about 2.5 mph.

Who/where would be a good place to take them to be freshened up. I'm in oc California.

Call Remac in San Dimas and ask for Leo.

Art's shop is just up the street here in HB, why not back to him? He's done a half dozen performance transmissions for me the last two or three years.

Kinda what I was thinking. But didn't know how his shop was since he's not doing the work now.

I have a guy that has done all our transmissions since the late 70's. He does most of the marine shops trans. I wouldn't use anyone else. If you have them pulled out he will pick them up.
