Well today was dyno day. Everything went as planned and the motor landed exactly where we thought it would. It made 552 HP and 525 ft lbs. We made a couple of pulls and didn't have to do much. We made some small timing changes to feel out where the motor was happy. We ended up at 36 degrees total timing. The Quick Fuel carb was taken out of the box and bolted on. We literally didn't touch it. I've had great luck with these carbs.

This engine recipe has proven itself once more.

In the first entry you mentioned rectangle port heads but those headers look round?

All headers are round lol.

Oval vs Rectangle port heads are characterized based on the intake "port" side, not the exhaust side.
