I have a Spectra for sale - was attempting restoration on her, but have no workshop in which to do the work, so ready to part with her. She was originally the showboat for Spectra's 1977 line, and belonged to my family ever since. Has freshly rebuilt 454 installed (<1 hr run time), and drivetrain was refurbished and powdercoated. Stringers are solid, hull is solid. Gel has some cracking on gunwales, but otherwise mostly still in great shape. No seating or helm currently. Wall between cockpit and cabin was rotted and new pieces have been cut but not glassed in. On a permanently registered (CA) tralier which has lots of surface rust, but no apparent cancer. Rolls and is ready to pick up.

Boat is located in San Francisco Bay Area (Point Richmond). Would love to see her go to someone with the skills and workspace to bring her back to life. Any reasonable offer entertained. Call Tim at (510) 504-1404

Some photos:

These two are from before we cleaned her up and removed the seating, helm, fiberglass tanks, etc.:

Gel is in pretty good shape, except for the gunwales - cleaned up nicely. Gunwales have cracking and need re-gel or fill:

Gel was just waxed and buffed - steel wool was for that white part of the rub rail (not used on gel, ever)

Results of a little initial stain removal from deck gel

Deck showing stain and white where we rubbed a little. You can see little bits of checking on deck gel here.

Gunwale corner (before any cleaning) just to show worst of cracking

Fresh engine and drivetrain:

New cabin/cockpit wall fab'd but not glassed in yet

A couple of random ones showing trailer, cover, and inside the cabin. No rot in cabin, v-berth and seats are still solid (although you may as well redo the cabin seats if doing the rest).
