A bit of a different animal.

River Jets!...Designed for .. Really a multi-purpose/utility Tub...Used all over as Police, Fish & Wildlife, Rescue, and Guide boats. Designed to run in skinny water, and up to class 5 rapids.
River Jets are highly maneuverable, and many can, from full speed, be reversed and brought to a stop within little more than their own length, (I call it "back in time!" Or E-Stop!) in a maneuver known as a "crash stop". The well known Hamilton turn or "jet spin" is a high-speed maneuver where the boat's engine throttle is cut, the steering is turned sharply and the throttle opened again, causing the boat to spin quickly around with a large spray of water...Also known as a cowboy!
Here's my Tub, (PNW term for River Jets) the first 2017, Custom Weld 22' Storm.

I'm thinking about doing a Build and review if there is any interest. ;)

Do it. [emoji106]

I've always been interested in these types of jets but have never seen how they're constructed and/or setup.

Seems they get rigged with LSA Marine motors but beyond that I'm clueless.

Made a deal I couldn't refuse, and finished build on the new one! :)

But I have several hundred hours (well over 1500) in the pilot seat!

Seems to me one of those would be a good lower river boat.
