I get back from Powell on the 18th, and then I'll get my little girl !

Love this plane. Great mileage, fast, reliable, great electronics. Best of all, a great pilot is flying it. The Bully can fly like a pro. Seat time is the key to anything.

It's the "daily driver" of planes. We will be airborne next Wednesday:champagne:

Flying to so cal, meeting Bully, flying private to Havasu and then to Powell from Havasu.

We are looking forward to seeing our friends at DCB and Eliminator... I will post images of the boating fest!

We should be in Powell tomorrow by 2 pm. I'm sure we will blast a 150 miles before dinner. All the shops were prepping boats for the Powell Challenge.

Next summer we are going to take your new boat and my new boat there. Also my friend with his 21 liberator will join. Maybe we can round up one more 22 foot or smaller tunnel. We will have a Small regatta of our own.

I had the awesome opportunity to show a very close friend who's never been to Powell the lake. Jerry May has been boating forever and never seen Powell.
We covered as much ground as we could and two full days.
Thursday after the storm went for a quick run to Padre Bay. Then finished off with Navajo Canyon.

Friday morning we sent out straight to Halls Crossing. With a stop in Cathedral Canyon on the way. On the way back we went up The Escalante river saw the ruins. Dangling rope along with a few other canyons along the way.

Saturday morning we left a bit earlier. We were out of the marina by 8:15. Made it to rainbow bridge in 27 minutes. Have the awesome opportunity to walk up to rainbow bridge with zero Tourists and zero Rangers we have the entire place to ourselves. Pretty unbelievable. After rainbow bridge we went up The San Juan river approximately 20 miles. Zero people zero boats completely awesome! Left their went through three more awesome canyons across from Cathedral Canyon. Stopped off at dangling rope for a quick ice cream. Rock Creek to the cave. Last chance bay all the way to the end and back.

Our speed I would say most of the time was right around 60 to 70 mph. We finished off running almost 450 miles in 11.5 hours.

For those of you that have been to Powell you understand it's not about how fast run. That lake is definitely a lake you don't want to be in a hurry. The scenery is just far too amazing to blow through it quickly.

Really enjoyed hanging out with everybody from the lake Powell challenge. The banquet last night was awesome.

Truly a perfect and unforgettable weekend.

The 28 Daytona will be in the hanger at Page airport June 1- September 30 next year. Looking forward to an awesome Powell season next year.
