Spent the whole day yesterday on the water. Boat is rock solid, sweet spot seems to be between 80 and 90. I feel you could drive it all day at 90. Made a couple blasts to 110 and went a solid 105 with 6 adults and 85% fuel. Not sure the 34's are the best choice for every day running but it did roll over with the big load.
Congratulations on your new boat. That is an impressive speed for summer heat and a small lake.
Looking at the picture it would appear that the props are spinning out. How does it handle? It seem like the west coast people are afraid to turn them out.
Yes turning props out. I feel it really helps the holeshot, lifts the stern and the boat rolls over immediately. It is very responsive to trim and very nimble, we have a bunch of crud floating in our lake due to recent flooding and it's no problem to grab a handful of wheel to avoid a floating log. I kinda love this thing, clock turned 10 hrs today and we have averaged more than 4 mpg!! Lots of it at 90+mph.
