I've got to send a BIG freaking thank you out to "Jefftowz" from the board!:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

As many of you know I've been on the hunt for a late 60's Cadillac. Well one popped up on the Bakersfield craigslist on Wednesday night that I thought looked pretty cool. I called the dude and told him I was interested. My problem was that the car was 300+ miles away and had no idea how to make this deal happen.

I could go drive down to look at it but even if I wanted to buy it how would I get it home? I looked into a U-haul trailer but the car is too long to fit.

Enter Jefftowz. I reached out to him because I know that he transports some pretty nice cars and figured he could point me in the right direction. Not only did he point me in the right direction but he said he could transport it.

So here's how the deal goes down.... I drive down to Bakersfield the next day and plan on spending the night to drive back the next day. I buy the car so I cal Jeff and he tells me he will pick up the car in a couple hours and be at my house in NorCal at 10:00 p.m. So no spending the night, I drive home.

Jeff was in constant contact with me.....and boom, look what shows up! Not only did he transport it but it was in an enclosed trailer! Dude is a stud! This wouldn't of happened if it wasn't for him. Thank you so much!:thumbsup

Oh and by the way, if any off you roll bar boat fans are big wakeboarders I bought this car off of Ricky G (Gonzalez). I guess he's like the most famous wakeboarder ever. He likes his Cadillacs. You can google him.

Nice pickup! Badass!

I saw this yesterday on Main Street here in LHC. I should have left a business card on it. I know you'd appreciate it as well, and thought of you when I saw it.

Sorry for the shitty pic. I believe it is a '67 and was on supremes.

Nice! I pulled out a 79 from the garage we have to demo. 40 something thousand original miles. Had 05 tags, put a battery in it and it fired right up, followed it across town just in case surprised the gas was good.

I'm going to bag it but keep the stock wheels. I think they look a little classier. Although....my wife says buy a boat before I spend any money on it.

My buddy just bagged his 64 Lincoln. He's gonna roll over to the house soon and I'll post some pics. Came out bad ass. He said it was a BITCH to bag though.

Yep, I bagged my 64 Lincoln and it was a bitch. Never really was right. I heard Cadillacs are way easier because of the coil springs.

Nice find Grads! Let's see the interior.

Our family truckster. 65/66 are my favorites. 1manshow has a sick 66 vert too.

Wow that is really nice!!! The flames are a nice touch!

The interior on mine is near perfect, no scratches, rips....and EVERYTHING on the the car works...every light, every electrical switch.

Nice ride! Ricky G has had some very nice Caddies move through the garage. Not surprised at all that every piece is just right.

Back in the day my older brother traded his 1970 Roadrunner with a 383 4spd straight across for a Cad (same color) just like yours. I said what were you thinking? He said he wanted to impress some girl. So I gotta ask, are you trying to impress some girl aka the wife??? "Nice Cad"...

Just curious, is there and RDP of Cadillac forums? I have a ton of questions about your car....

I sent you my number, but fire away and I'll answer what can.
I don't think there's too many forums like RDP lol. There's a caddy forum but nothing like here, for overall old cars, traditional and custom, the HAMB - good, helpful folks there.

Nice pickup Grads. Clean and I love the 2 door lines.

I had a '66 Fleetwood years back and it was such a nice ride. Drove like a dream and rode like being on a cloud.....Have had a couple others since, but nothing like the that '66.

Cool car Congrats.....I often think of building a layed out caddy or Lincoln.

Than my wife reminds me I would be bored with it the second it was done because it's not fast and doesn't handle good.:grumble:
