CC Dam Run - BBQ Friday, Aug 4th

Assuming the date is firm for the CC Dam Run on Saturday, Aug 5th, I am starting a thread to gauge the interest in a Friday night, Aug 4th BBQ at my house. We have a pool and plan to have the shave ice machine here. My buddy, Danny, has a passion for smoking meats and he's on board with his custom made smoker.

It could be a fun evening and I'd love to make this happen if there's enough interest.

What about a Saturday BBQ after the run .

We are in for a Friday bbq, ive never been, but from what i understand the post run bbq is at the kathrines landing motel.

We are also planning on making it to the BBQ on Friday. Gonna make 3.Slow drive us over there. [emoji6]

I'm in for sure. Let me know what I can bring or how I can help. I'm planning to take the week off so any help getting ready or whatever let me know.

We'll do the bbq. I'll bring meat, donate money or whatever we can do to help.

Thought that I would bump this thread for the start of the month. We have plenty of time to get this going if anyone else is interested. Friday night would probably work best for everyone since Saturday is so long, with most people staying at the hotel that night BBQing. HMU.

I'm pretty excited for this. Talking to Rob it sounds like my kids will have a blast in the pool

Just a little update on Aug 4 BBQ in Bullhead
On the menu we're having tri-tip brisket (note Danny's brisket, check out smoke ring) and pork shoulder for pulled pork.
Some of the inmates reguested fish, however, I have explicit instructions that no fish will not go in his smoker. I do have a pretty
good sized charcoal BBQ that I have no problem using. Just a teaser, my neighbor might make it back that day with fresh
yellow tail, work pending. Striper bass was mentioned I do not fish, those smelly bastards will not go in my boat, but if there
is interest I know a few guys. One of my favorite is corn on the cob so this is a must. If some of you guys want to whip up
sides, by all means but not necessary. We will have the Shiver River shave ice set up for sure.

I have about 10 rsvp with families so will call that about 30. I've talked to some inmates that are coming that have not posted, I do want
to get a decent head count.

I live in Larado Village on the Bullhead parkway. Its south one half mile of Silver Creak rd, pretty much in the middle of the loop.

just a quick update...I went to Vegas yesterday and picked up the brisket and pork so that's in order...my buddy going to make a sangria, jungle juice and margaritas for the adult shave ice. I'll have some bud lights on hand and and plenty of ice chest. If you like any other special drinks bring it. We're a couple weeks away I am looking forward to seeing everybody. Rob

Do you have a head count yet? I was thinking of bringing my Homemade BBQ beans (and these ain't no bush baked beans out of a can. Lol!) Miller's = 2 adults 2 kids.

Sandovals are 5 adults possibly 6 and 2 kids

We're bringing something, I'd rather have an idea of what might be needed if you have an idea. Otherwise, it could be anything from cheesecake to chee-to's!:eek

Getting a true head count has been kinda tough, I've talked to quite a few inmates that said they were coming but have not posted.
I'm going to guess with local friends and all about 100. I have enough food for about 150. :eek bring a smile and a bathing suit

4 day's.Really want to give prop's to Rob and Arlene for opening there home and putting on this party.

4 days. OutboardBahner plus wife and son will be there. Plus 3.Slow and his wife plus 100 kids.

Everything's ready for the party! Sangria is a little rough, but we're working on it. The bass is bumping and we're excited to see you all.
